You can pick whichever of our services you like, depending on your needs. However, you might find that our £1,295 offer is a useful starting package.

Self publish your book for just £1,295

We realise that entering the world of self publishing can seem daunting and costly so we've come up with a simple package that will enable you to ensure that your books look wonderful and get into print with the minimum of cost and hassle. You will receive everything detailed below for just £1,295.

The text of your book designed by a professional text designer
Choose from a range of text styles created by one of our designers, the same people who designed the texts of our bestsellers such as Champneys: Spa Secrets for Body and Soul, Food for Friends and the Infinite Success series.

Your book cover designed by a professional cover designer
We will design two sample full-colour cover designs for you to choose from. If you supply an image for the cover and a cover blurb those will be incorporated into it. We'll incorporate one round of your changes to these before you choose which one you would like on your book.

Print resolution typesetting of your book
All aspects of your book's text and cover will be typeset to publishing industry standards, suitable for professional printing.

Full approval of both cover and text prior to printing
The typeset page proofs and cover will be emailed to you as PDFs so you can check that you are happy with our work before the book goes to press.

Final PDF copy for you to distribute via email or through your web site
Once you have given your final approval and books have been sent to be printed we will send you a PDF that you can email to friends, family and potential customers.

10 complimentary printed copies of your new book
Your ten books will be with you within four weeks of you giving us the go-ahead to print (you may have a shorter wait than this).

ISBN number (international standard book number)
Your book will be assigned an ISBN and we will register the relevant bibliographic details with the UK ISBN agency, Nielsen, listing you as the publisher. You will also receive 9 further ISBNs to use on any future publishing projects.

Your book available to buy online from Amazon, Waterstone's and WHSmith
We will ensure that your book is available to buy from all these sources and many other smaller online bookstores.

Exclusive marketing guide book
Once you sign up you will be sent a copy of our book Guerrilla tactics for marketing and selling your book, full of priceless tips that will enable you to begin your marketing efforts right away.

Ability to re-order your book: starting from just one copy
We can print single copies or larger orders depending on your needs. Single copies cost just £3 while larger orders will lead to reductions in the print price per copy. Just call us when you need more books and we'll aim to get them to you within three weeks.

Add other services at your discretion
The services above will ensure that your book looks professional and is available for your readers to purchase. Other services will further enhance the quality of your book and make it visible to more potential customers. Services available include editing, proofreading, indexing and a range of marketing packages.

Remember too that you can order as many or as few of your book as you want. Your file stays with us (as long as you want it to, of course) enabling you in the future to order more copies whenever you need them.

A note on sales and marketing

It can be quite hard to get your book visible on the high street so if you want your book to be a success you'll need to put at least as much effort into selling it as you have into writing it.

If you do have ambitions to sell your book beyond friends and family you'll need an ISBN. Once you've bought ISBNs and registered your book with Nielsen it will exist on a global bibliographic system and will automatically be available from booksellers, including Amazon. This doesn't mean your book will actually be in the bookshops: if you want your book to be on the shelves you're going to have to go round the retailers and persuade them to stock it. If you can get lots of good reviews and some positive PR that's going to help too.

The £1,295 offer and the reprint cost of £3 is based on a 45,000 word novel, 160 pages long, full colour cover, black and white text, trade fiction paperback size (198 x 129mm, since you ask).
