Infinite Ideas is an independent, energetic and agile publisher of books on wine and business. It’s an unusual combination but as publishers we have excelled in both areas because we enjoy what we do. In 2016 our Classic Wine Library will grow to 10 titles and we plan to increase this to 30 by 2018, with important new titles on wine regions such as Verona, Champagne and Portugal as well as more specialist titles on biodynamic wines and the social history of wine.
We also publish some of the world’s great business thinkers. Author of several highly regarded Infinite Ideas books, global cross-cultural management expert Fons Trompenaars, was recently ranked in the top 40 business thinkers in the world by the influential ranking platform Thinkers50. We also publish former global CEO of Burger King and hero of the international speaking circuit, Barry Gibbons. But our business publishing isn’t all heavyweight – our Game of Thrones on Business by Tim Phillips and Rebecca Clare was shortlisted for the CMI Management Book of the Year.
While we’re on the subject of awards, Madeira: The islands and their wines by Richard Mayson was shortlisted for the 2015 André Simon Food and Drink Awards. As you can see, although wine and business might seem an odd combination we’re very good at both.
